I have been searching for a while to gain a better understanding of the RequestValidate property.  The request validate property is a new feature in ASP.Net 1.1 that is for providing a preventing script attacks.  If there is HTML charaters in the request when it is posted back to a server and you have the RequestValidate property to true, then a System.Web.HttpRequestValidationException is thrown.  

Now, I’m not going into any more details than that brief description.  However, I will provide a list of links that I have found that go into more detail.
